Content rules

Atelier is for making good pictures of yourself, your products and your ideas. It is not for hurting or deceiving anyone.

Photos of people

Only add a photo of a person if it is you, or if they agreed to it. Atelier asks you to confirm this the first time you use a Person photo.

What Atelier won't make

• Nudity, sexual content, or sexualised pictures of anyone.
• Any minor in a sexual, romantic, violent or dangerous context.
• A real, identifiable person (a public figure, or anyone in a photo you add) committing crimes, being hurt or humiliated, in fake news or political propaganda, or in any picture meant to deceive or harass.
• Graphic gore, torture, self-harm, or attacks with real-world weapons.
• Hate symbols, or content that demeans people for who they are.
• Fake documents, IDs or official records.

Fashion, fitness, swimwear at the beach, travel, portraits, products, art and fantasy are all fine.

How it's enforced

An automated check reviews every prompt before a picture is made, and every picture before it is shown. Prompts that break the rules are refused and pictures that break them are withheld. Refusals are logged against the account, and accounts that keep trying are closed.
